Our Spotlights are one of the ways we celebrate and uplift queer filmmakers in our community. Members can submit their own spotlight, submit as part of a creative team, or nominate someone whose work deserves to be highlighted. Spotlights are shared across QFC LA’s platforms to amplify voices, showcase projects, and help queer storytellers gain visibility and recognition.
Community Spotlight
Cast & Crew Calls are a way for queer filmmakers to find collaborators and build their teams. Members can submit calls for cast, crew, or creative partners, as well as share projects that are actively seeking collaborators. These calls are shared within the QFC LA community to help connect filmmakers, expand networks, and support projects at every stage of development and production.
Open Calls
The QFC Filmmaker Directory is a growing resource designed to help queer filmmakers find and connect with one another. By joining the directory, members can share their skills, roles, and interests, making it easier to collaborate on projects and build lasting creative relationships. The directory helps strengthen our community by increasing visibility across the collective.
